Welcome to the yew tree
a message from wayne and sharon marsh

In December 2018 we were delighted to take over the reigns of the Yew Tree. Together, and with the support of our friendly staff, we pride ourselves on being a traditional, cosy country pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Our aim is simple, we will greet you as a friend and when you leave we hope you will do so wanting to return again soon.

Our pub is located in the small but beautiful village of Avon Dassett, which is steeped in history and situated mid-way between Warwick and Banbury.

It is nestled in the slopes of the extremely popular Burton Dassett Country Park, which attracts visitors all year round. It is also convenient for those visiting the National Trust’s Farnborough Hall and beautiful Farnborough Lake both situated nearby.

As the only pub in the village, the Yew Tree is very popular with the locals, but due to its location it also attracts many visitors who pop in for a drink or join us for a meal in the bar or the restaurant area.

Our pub is family-friendly and dog-friendly too. We offer a children’s menu catering for smaller appetites as well as special deals. We are also happy to provide fresh water and a little treat for your pooch!

In the warmer months, you will find our large garden is a perfect place to unwind and to soak up the sun. But when things turn cooler, our two wood burners will be roaring to ensure there is a snug feeling throughout the pub.

Our bar area has a large screen television often showing popular sporting events. We are also looking to host a wide variety of events throughout the year, and information will be posted on the ‘Events’ section of the website and also on our Facebook page.

We look forward to welcoming you to our village and to the Yew Tree.
